  Skill Sets

In general, people usually have skills that are in 'sets'. For the most part, people tend to develop skills that they would use often, and skills that somehow compliment or grow out of other skills they have. For example, a computer programmer may have good language, math, or logic skills; a soldier may know munitions, hand to hand combat techniques, and first aid; a student may have good integration skills, research skills, and an astounding capacity for beer.

Characters who have skills that are jarring, or that don't seem to make sense with that character's psyche and background will not be granted without having those problems addressed. Your character's skills should be covered, for the most part in the background section of your application. Show where, when, and why those skills were learned.
