  Healing and Healing Factors

Some characters can heal others, and other characters might be able to heal themselves. While these two powers might occur in the same character, that will often not be the case.

If your character can heal another character, you need to consider a number of factors.

What types of injuries can your character heal?

How quickly is each type of injury healed?

What is the means of the healing?

How much effort does it take to heal an injury?

Is physical contact required to heal the injury?

Is knowledge of how to heal the injury required?

Do foreign objects get forced out in the healing process?

During the healing process do bones set themselves?

Can your character heal viruses and parasites?

Can your character's healing cure poisons, chronic or genetic diseases?

If your character has a healing factor, you need to consider a number of factors.

What types of injuries can your character heal?

How quickly is each type of injury healed?

What is the means of the healing?

How much effort does it take to heal an injury?

Is it a conscious healing, or is it an automatic process?

How much damage can be healed?

What can be damaged before dying?

Do foreign objects get forced out in the healing process?

During the healing process do bones set themselves?

Can your character's healing cure poisons?

Can your character regrow organs or limbs?

Does your character's healing factor effect age?
